Learning progress, review scheduling, and speech-practice attempt counts are stored locally on your device. Widget selection and rotation state are stored in the app's private shared container so the Daily Norsk Home Screen widget can display and advance learning items.

This information is used only to provide the app's learning, review, progress, and widget features. Daily Norsk does not send it to the developer.

• The developer does not receive, collect, sell, or share personal data or app-usage data from Daily Norsk.
• The app has no developer-operated account system, analytics service, advertising SDK, social SDK, or remote backend.
• The app does not use data for advertising or track you across other companies' apps or websites.
• The bundled dictionary, examples, phrases, and core learning features work offline.

Speech practice is optional. Daily Norsk asks for microphone and speech-recognition permission only after you select the recognition control. The rest of the app remains usable if you decline or later revoke either permission in iOS Settings.

Daily Norsk does not save audio recordings. When the installed Norwegian recognizer supports on-device processing, recognition is kept on the device. Otherwise, Apple may process audio solely to service the immediate recognition request. The developer does not receive the audio or transcript. Apple's processing is governed by the Apple Privacy Policy.

A transcript exists in memory only while the practice interface is in use. The app stores only a local count that a practice attempt occurred; it does not retain the transcript or recognition result.

Daily Norsk opens legal, license, acknowledgement, or source links in the system browser only when you select them. The operator of each destination website is responsible for that site's data practices. Daily Norsk does not add your learning history or speech-practice information to those requests.

Local learning data remains on your device until you reset learning progress, delete the app, or restore or replace device data through Apple's device and backup features. The developer has no user account or developer-held personal data to retain or delete.

Daily Norsk is a general-audience educational app and does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users.

The publisher and data controller is the developer or seller identified on Daily Norsk's App Store product page. This policy may be updated if the app's behavior changes, and the effective date above will be revised when an update is published.
